Jakarta, March 30, 2022 – PT Synkrona Enjiniring Nusantara successfully delivered the Training for Trainer (TFT) program held at Pullman Hotel Thamrin, Central Jakarta. The program was organized through a collaboration between Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), under the initiative of the Institute of Social Economic Digital (ISED).
The training was attended by participants from the Indonesian Solar Energy Association (AESI). The program was initiated in response to the limited familiarity and awareness among local financial institutions regarding Solar PV Power Plants (PVPP), which has contributed to the relatively low level of Solar PV financing in Indonesia.
The main objective of this program was to train AESI participants, who would later educate representatives from financial institutions using training materials developed by Synkrona. Through this initiative, financial institutions are expected to gain a better understanding of Solar PV projects and recognize the significant growth potential of solar energy as a renewable energy source in Indonesia.
During the two-day program, Synkrona delivered four key topics related to Solar PV:
* Technical Aspects
* Financial Aspects
* Regulatory Aspects
* Risk Management
The training began with a pre-test session to assess participants’ initial understanding before the training started. This was followed by interactive presentations and discussions, where participants actively shared their diverse experiences in the Solar PV industry. At the end of the sessions, participants completed a post-test to evaluate their understanding of the materials delivered, as well as feedback forms provided by Synkrona and GIZ.
