Project Description
We are proud to share the successful completion of the 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 (𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐃) 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐇𝐲𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧, where Synkrona served as the engineering consultant for a Japanese renewable energy developer.
Our team delivered comprehensive electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering packages, with a strong focus on financial feasibility and compliance with Indonesian standards, ensuring the project’s smooth transition to the construction phase.
The Challenge: Integrating advanced Japanese technology including PV modules, inverters, BESS systems, and control solutions into Indonesia’s regulatory and technical framework.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Through in-depth study of technical documents and close collaboration with our client, Synkrona’s engineers ensured that every component met Indonesia’s stringent standards and local requirements. This teamwork was instrumental in delivering all FEED outputs on time and to specification.
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜: This hybrid power plant integrates solar PV, battery energy storage, and complementary renewable generation sources to ensure stable and continuous power supply within an isolated microgrid. Designed as a pioneering model, the system demonstrates the feasibility of achieving a 100% renewable and self-sustaining energy supply for remote communities in Kalimantan serving as an important step toward Indonesia’s clean energy transition.
This project not only supports Indonesia’s vision for a carbon-free future, but also strengthens Synkrona’s expertise in global renewable energy technologies. We are now more ready than ever to help our partners and clients accelerate their journey toward a 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.
