PT. Bukit Asam Tbk. (PTBA) has a Vision to become a world-class energy company that cares about the environment. Where in 2030, PTBA targets 30% of the company’s revenue to come from the energy business. To achieve this Vision, PTBA has started several development steps that need to be taken, one of which is the diversification of the Renewable Energy power plant development business through post-mining land utilization activities located in Tanjung Enim for the development of Solar Power Plants. By developing a solar power plant, it is hoped that PTBA can achieve efficiency in the use of electrical energy in the mining activity operations process and reduce environmental emissions. Feasibility studies and engineering designs are needed to determine whether this solar power project is feasible both technically and financially.
